|First time parents can prepare for the physical and psychological experiences of labor, birth and postpartum. Topics include: how to prepare for birth and delivery; natural vs. epidural assisted labor; hospital procedures; Cesarean delivery; relaxation and breathing techniques; comfort measures for labor, and postpartum. Please bring two pillows and a blanket to all classes. Healthy snacks available for purchase. A tour of the maternity unit is included in these class sessions.
The breastfeeding class is free if you attend this class.
We recommend you take this class six to ten weeks prior to your due date.
